P I N A.

This film is what I've been waiting for, this is just so beautiful, Wim, the director is a genius and I am so excited and even though it is labelled as a documentary I think it is a film, art trapped on film. This is the only movie I ever want to see in 3D maybe, but I think I'm going to fall in love with Wim and this documentary.

A World Captured by the camera : Jacqueline Riman.

I really have fallen in love with Riman's photography, it is just so subtlety mesmerizing, her photographs, they way they are shot show's an photographer who really has appreciation for capturing in the moment, every photo is just taken in the best moment, and I find they all look perfect, Riman's nature photographs, they look like stills from a nature short film, I just find myself looking deeper into the photograph, she really has an amazing eye for photography. I really find she has a real amazing talent for photography.

A world Captured By The Camera : Wiissa.

The joy of life and love on camera. Vanessa Hollander and Wilson Philippe, 1994 & 1993, USA & France, are two young photographers, in a relationship, on their journey into the photographic world. As a couple they express themselves through photography. Both the photographers also appear in front of the lens. They strengthen each other and create their own world, in which they are the lead subjects. It is a young and romantic reality they display, full of color and joy. They also work with video with brilliant results. I adore Vanessa and Wilson's photographs they are simply just so incredibly beautiful.

A World Captured By The Camera : Eliot Lee Hazel.

I just found this photographer, and I am in awe, he as been called “a stunning hybrid of Ryan McGinley and Yelena Yemchuk”, now obviously I have seen his photograph's they are stunning, like every photo is like a piece of film that has been captured in a photograph, every photo seems to hold a cinematic story behind it. I love the colours visually the colours get somewhat brighter and deeper the more you look at it, and I think he has a great personal flare for photography. In some of my favourite ones, they are washed out, like half the photo is falling away.

Eliot Lee Hazel, 1971, UK, is a California based photographer. He makes gritty and cinematic images. They are well composed, stylish yet have a raw edge. He has worked for various musicians like Morcheeba, Yeasayer and Basement Jaxx and with actresses as Shannyn Sossamon. D.

Dancing With My Shadow.

So Much Love For Mr Dylan, just standing here in my room, dancing with my shadow.

A World Captured By The Camera: Bruce Davidson.

This photographer is just such a beautiful photographer, I adore all of his photographs, it reminds me of nostalgia and the 90's, they all have a brutal beauty about them, Bruce has photographed them on the subway in an American state, what makes it better is that no one in the photo is model looking, they look so real, and the photo tells such great stories, and the locations of Davidson's photo just really add to his collection, the photograph's are not captured with a digital camera, the colours and lighting is just wow. I love his photo's and I think more photographer's should start to capture like this, instead of more photographer's becoming fashion photographers.

Film Trailers.

2011. New ideas. New Discoveries. And most importantly New Films.

1) This Film is about a girl who moves to a new neighborhood during the summer holidays. With her Jean Seberg haircut and tomboy ways, Laure is immediately mistaken for a boy by the local kids and decides to pass herself off as Mikael, a boy like the others but different enough to catch the attention of leader of the pack Lisa (Jeanne Disson) who becomes smitten with him. At home with her parents (Mathieu Demy and Sophie Cattani) and girlie younger sister she is Laure, while hanging out with her new pals and girlfriend, she is Mikael. Finding resourceful ways to hide her true self Laure takes advantage of her new identity as if the end of the summer would never reveal her unsettling secret.

2) Kevin is a disturbing, deranged, non-linear account of a school shooting from the point of view of the mother of the perpertrator. Flashbacks (featuring some of the creepiest kid actors I’ve ever seen, including a frickin’ toddler!) trace the relationship between Kevin and his mom, played by the always captivating Tilda Swinton, doing wonders here. But it’s Ezra Miller as the teenage Kevin who really steals the show. He is frightening. Downright scary.

3) A Hollywood stunt performer who moonlights as a wheelman discovers that a contract has been put on him after a heist gone wrong, Ryan Gosling is gracing our film theatres , again.

4)L.A. screenwriter David Sumner relocates with his wife to her hometown in the deep South. There, while tensions build between them, a brewing conflict with locals becomes a threat to them both, this is a remake, is this remake any good, well go check it out!

A World Captured by the camera : Aëla Labbé.

Dreamy. Sleeping Beauties. Surreal. Haunting. Ghost Like. All these word's describe that come to mind when I view Aëla's photo's, they are just stunning, she is a dreamer with a camera, and she has put her feelings and thoughts into every photo, all of her photo's have a sense of real old beauty. These photo's have strong vibes of nostalgia, and I adore how all of her colors just leak into each other, even though all of the photographs are just beautiful, it really leaves the viewer with dark thoughts, which is good if photographs can cause or trigger feelings that's really good. I just adore all of her photographs.

Hip & Thigh Fabric.

Okay, I am sick and tired, ladies stop wearing jeggings, leggings and jeans, jeans are alright but not everybody, all the time. There are different fabrics in this world, jeans are fine, but if it's the light blue jeans they look nasty, sorry if that is your favoruite pair of jeans, they look disgustings get a pair of dark coloured jeans, they look much better. If you know that you wear jeans too much you should try one of the pair of trousers above. Leather pants, stunning, slick and if you have a lovely figure, show it , girl. If you are lazy, and like wearing bigger clothes, wear looser pants like the kilt print trousers worn with the right thing, they look great. Hi to all those tomboys, wearing the same pair of jeans, try and wear the cashmere or velvet chinos, they look so mucher and fit more with the fashion espically if you don't spend loads of cash on clothes. Sorry, but dump the jeans please, for your own sake.

I am particular about my fashion, brogues, blazers, skinny jeans, chinos, over sized, lazy look. Whatever, I love my eye wear though, and now it is winter, cold, brrr, my birthday soon, about bloody time. I actually don't find it weird to wear sunglasses in the winter, everyone comments asking me do you have a black eye?. Anyway these are my winter sunglasses candidates. Looking well rad, I know.

Sleeping Beauty.

1)A young princess is the subject of a tug-of-war among witches, as each struggles to find the suitable antidote to a death sentence inculcated by an evil sister.

2)A haunting erotic fairy tale about Lucy, a student who drifts into prostitution and finds her niche as a woman who sleeps, drugged, in a 'Sleeping Beauty chamber' while men do to her what she can't remember the next morning. Starring Emily Browning and directed by Julia Leigh.

The first one an European film called Sleeping Beauty, the second film stars Emily Browning, the story lines are quite different, but the first one appeals to me more because it is very stunning, cinematic - wise.

Apple.

Okay, I love my technology, Apple to me are amazing but why have they done iPhone 4s, it was expected they love to improve their idea's and add cool new things, but iPhone 5 was what we were waiting for, don't get me wrong the iPhone 4s is cool, expect from the parental control bit, who wants that?! Hey I can't complain.... the camera is 8 pixel.R.I.P Steve Jobs , the Father of Apple.

Jennifer Collier.

This idea is amazing, hurrah I literally just want to buy a collection of these. I was literally so stunned when I saw this, Collier is just a genius, her pieces are paper camera's which are stitched and the paper they are made out of are just beautiful. I adore cameras especially if their like old cameras, the vintage, double exposure camera's are just stunning. Really this a cute idea which has turned out beautifully.

Philip Govedare

These paintings are amazing, they are so beautiful, they way the colors just streak into one, especially how all the colors are deep and resemble stunning streams. The last painting is just great, the color is deep, and the lines just give it originality, I think this is such an amazing way to draw landscapes, sometimes landscapes can be boring with bland blues, watery whites and greying greens, this is such a new way beautiful way to paint landscapes. I especially adore how each of them are representing a different season, like some are violets, greys and whites, and some of them are summer, deep reds, lacking in blue and just amazing. I adore all of these.
